BIOGRAPHICAL AND RELATIONAL PROFESSIONAL IDENTITY OF THE NURSE MANAGER

ABSTRACT Objective: to know and understand the perceptions meanings attributed biographical relational identity of being a nurse by social group that acted as director Department Division Nursing University Hospital São Paulo. Method: social-historical study with qualitative approach. Data collection occurred between March November 2017. The theory Claude Dubar was used theoretical reference. Eleven interviews were conducted, which analyzed technique Discourse Analysis. Results: two categories emerged. first highlighted articulation process, practice care, Teaching-Assistance Integration program, addressed aspects related power model-reference. second listed role teacher/manager emphasized issues recognition respect. Conclusion: this may contribute visibility area, especially in field assistance, management, teaching.
